Tri-global Solutions Group Inc. is seeking three (3) Senior BI Business Analyst’s to join our talented Service Delivery team at Department of Health, Government of New Brunswick.

WORK MODEL: The successful contractor will be working remotely, though should be able to travel to the province of New Brunswick at least once a month throughout the project’s duration (unlikely for out-of-province contractors). Work must be done from within Canada at all times due to network and data security policies. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada to apply (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, etc.).Standard Hours of work are between 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM Atlantic Time, Monday through Friday excluding observed holidays.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

New Brunswick is undergoing a significant transformation, transitioning from various standalone hospital information systems to a unified, standardized, and integrated Clinical Information Solution (CIS). This transformation prioritizes the standardization of clinical practices province-wide, a crucial step toward achieving a unified provincial CIS. The focus is on identifying leading practices in patient care delivery and responsible health data management. Implementation of the CIS will modernize how care is delivered, enabling greater consistency, efficiency, and collaboration across the health system. Business Intelligence (BI) will serve as a foundational layer to ensure consistent, data-driven decision-making across clinical, operational, and administrative domains (i.e., across the health system).

We are seeking the services of three (3) Business Analyst – Business Intelligence to assist with BI initiatives related to the standardization and implementation of the CIS.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The DoH requires Business Analyst – Business Intelligence to support the CIS Program (Symbio Program). The role of the Business Analyst encompasses several activities to serve as a liaison between the Symbio Program and clinical, technical, operational and business stakeholders across the health system, and will be engaging with stakeholders and administrators from the regional health authorities (Horizon Health Network and Vitalité Health Network), Service New Brunswick (SNB) and the DoH. The Business Analyst will be responsible for co-facilitating sessions to understand the need of stakeholders, user groups and translating this information into clear requirements and data definitions.
The Business Analyst will be required to work closely with other Symbio team members, subject matter experts (SMEs), and clinical and health administrative stakeholders in the gathering of business, operational, and clinical requirements, as well as the design of objectives and key results (OKRs) and performance indicators to be leveraged by stakeholders. This role serves as an enabler to support the planning and implementation the CIS data ecosystem.
With the guidance of the CIS Business Intelligence Lead, the Business Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to:
• Document current and future state workflows, data sources, and reporting sources across stakeholder groups
• Elicit, refine and validate requirements for data tools and visualizations
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories in collaboration with stakeholder groups
• Lead quality assurance and testing work including but not limited to user acceptance and unit testing
• Co-facilitate work for metrics definition and documentation

The chosen individual’s work will be comprised of a mixture of steady state and project-based efforts.

Some after hours and weekend work may be required for the successful candidate, however, any overtime or work during non-business hours must be approved in advance.

Reporting Structure:
The successful candidate will report to the Business Intelligence Lead under the Business Stream of the Clinical Information Solution Program.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

– University degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and demonstrated professional experience in healthcare or information systems. (Yes or No)
– Demonstrated experience supporting large scale or transformative healthcare implementation or digital health initiatives within a provincial, regional, or multi organization healthcare environment. (10 years+)
– Demonstrated experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements, including business process analysis and structured business analysis documentation. (7 years+)
– The candidate must be available to start work on or about May 25, 2026. (Yes or No)

SCORED REQUIREMENTS

– Demonstrated expertise leading complex, multi disciplinary workshops to resolve ambiguity, validate assumptions, prioritize requirements, and translate outcomes into actionable user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. (10 years+)
– Demonstrated experience supporting business intelligence or analytics initiatives, including metric definition, reporting requirements, data validation, and collaboration with BI or data engineering teams. (7 years+)
– Demonstrated experience working with or implementing Clinical Information Systems in Canada, including experience supporting process optimization and analytics in multi stakeholder environments. (7 years+)
– Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering targeted communications for diverse audiences, including executive level status updates, issue and risk summaries, decision records, and presentation materials. (7 years+)
– Demonstrated experience defining and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases, with accountability for validating data accuracy, completeness, integrity, and alignment to business expectations. (5 years+)
